I've finished my new kids' mystery: The Great Northern Spy
Train Robbery--a sequel to the Pea Soup Poisonings
To my utter
astonishment, I won the coveted Agatha Award for 2006
Best Children's/YA Novel, for my middle grade mystery
novel, The Pea Soup Poisonings.
All this happened at the '07 Malice Domestic Conference
in Arlington, Virginia. Now I has the lovely traditional
Teapot to pour tea from. Like something out of
Alice in Wonderland!
I'm giving the
keynote addess for the Champlain College Young Vermont
Writers conference held in May.
I love working with kids and young adults--gave birth to
four of my own, so I'm glad to do the keynote for their
3-day writing workshop.
