What is the IMAGINATION LIBRARY? It is a children's literacy program that brings FREE books to children each month from birth to 5 years old. Every month, children enrolled in the IMAGINATION LIBRARY receive a free book in their mailbox. This promotes both a love of books in the children, as well as giving parents an opportunity to spend some extra special time with their children. Not only is this program successful, but it is spreading quickly across the country. Over 500 communities have enrolled, and more than 200,000 books are delivered to children every month.

Your donation will help bring more books to more children. And best of all, 100% of the money the IMAGINATION LIBRARY receives goes to providing books for children, because all the administrative expenses are paid for by the Dollywood Foundation!

* please remember that we are charged credit card processing fees on all donations paid by credit card. It is 35 cents per donation + approximately 3% of the gross donation amount. So a $1.00 donation would net the IMAGINATION LIBRARY approximately 62 cents, while a $5.00 donation would net the IMAGINATION LIBRARY $4.50, and a $10.00 donation would net the IMAGINATION LIBRARY approximately $9.35, and so on. WEEKLY EMAILING: Every Friday, we will email a copy of the IT HAD TO BE US e-book to those who donated to the IMAGINATION LIBRARY the previous week. We will email the e-book to the email  address used when making the donation by credit card, or to the email address supplied when paying by check.
