About Kate...
Kate Huntington fell in love with the
Regency period as a high school sophomore in
Huntington, Indiana, when she was forced to
read Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen in
English class. It changed her life. She
graduated from high school, went to college
to earn a bachelor of arts degree in English
and secondary education, became a newspaper
reporter and then an editor for a succession
of newspapers in Huntington and Fort Wayne,
Indiana, and the Chicago suburbs, but what
she really wanted to do was write a book.
She figured she'd do that . . . someday. |
